TRE is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress and tension. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system, lessening symptoms of stress. and improving one’s resilience . –www.traumaprevention.com

This introductory workshop will include a presentation on the body’s neuro-physiological responses to the continuum of stress, instruction through the exercises and an opportunity to experience this self-care tool first hand.

Joan McDonald, a registered Social Worker is a certified and internationally recognized TRE Provider and Certification Trainer.

Cost: There is no “fee” for this event. Instead, we hope that you will receive this workshop as a gift and afterwards be inspired offer us a return gift enabling us to organize more events in the future. The estimated costs of putting on the workshop are $10-$20 per person.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, a note pad and pen.

This workshop is not advised for people who are pregnant, have epilepsy, recent injuries/surgeries or untreated high blood pressure.
